DENVER CAP LUNCH TALK April 2, 2019 “MAINTAIN PUBLIC CHOICE OF PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES"    

Tuesday:  noon -1:30 p.m.    Denver CAP Lunch/Talk --  Prepare for Sunset Review: Maintain Public Access to Registered Psychotherapists:   Join us  at  Morning Story, 560 S. Holly, Denver 80246 (corner of Leetsdale/Holly in Denver)  
Learn details of the Sunset Review of mental health professionals which will determine whether the right to practice as a Registered Psychotherapist continues. Learn about upcoming stakeholder dialogues. Discuss why the public needs access to psychotherapists who address transpersonal, existential and psychospiritual issues. Explore ways to help make sure the public can access your services beyond 2020.

Your participation during Sunset Review is needed to maintain the public's right to choose services provided by Registered Psychotherapists. There are active efforts by professional organizations to eliminate the right to practice as a Registered Psychotherapist and to narrow the practice of psychotherapy. Learn how other states have responded to such efforts. DORA is collecting feedback now. Colorado is a state of diverse publics, review ways to help to keep more than 4,000 mental health professionals in business. 

Participation in this event is worth 1.5 Continuing Competency Credits. Bring your cards, brochures and information about your healing services.

Presentation counts for one and a half hours of Colorado Continuing Competency Units (CCs). Morning Story, 560 S. Holly, Denver 80246 on corner of  Leetsdale and Holly --
