RISK PROTECTION FOR YOUR PRACTICE: MICRO-ISSUES AND MACRO ISSUES FOR REDUCING YOUR LIABILITY FOR LAWSUITS AND DORA COMPLAINTS. - Dr. Reo Leslie CAP Advisory Board Member will discuss recent changes in Colorado law that impact our practice, how to reduce our risk to our small businesses from lawsuits and DORA complaints, and the ways mental health professionals can influence public policy and the legislative process in Colorado instead of being a victim of it.  Dr. Reo Leslie, LMFT, LPC, CAC III is the CEO of the Colorado School for Family Therapy; the CAP Legislative Committee Chair, and the President and Founder of the Colorado Mental Health Professionals Association. Dr. Leslie, as the former Vice Chair of the LPC Board and a past Mental Health Representative of the State of Colorado Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice has experience dealing with  DORA complaints and the legislative process.
