11:00 a.m.   KEEP SUN SHINING ON YOUR RIGHT TO PRACTICE AS A REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST- Learn how to help maintain the public’s access to services provided by Registered Psychotherapists and other mental health professionals. During this time of increasing need for mental health professionals, join CAP.  The Sunset Review process to shape a new Colorado Mental Health Practice Act will begin in October 2018. This presentation will discuss that process and how CAP members and others can influence Sunset Review to protect the Registered Psychotherapist designation and our right to practice as mental health professionals. The CAP "Adopt a Legislator" and "Citizen Lobbying" plans, and how both relate to our right to continue to practice will be outlined.
