COMPASSION AND PRESENCE IN THERAPY; Compassion allows us to feel with our client’s or as it is often called, empathy. Empathy is highly useful. As therapists we also know that empathy can be a channel for transference and counter-transference. With compassion we find the ability to appreciate and accept things as they are. Paradoxically accepting things as they are and being fully present allows things to change.

Alan McAllister, Registered Psychotherapist, has trained and worked as a PhD Astro-Physicist, a Clairvoyant Minister, a registered Hypnotherapist, and a Ceremonialist. He shares techniques for engaging with clients to help people explore how to live and work more fully and effectively. Alan is dedicated to helping people live at their highest potential.
