Colorado Association of Psychotherapists invites you to attend this educational event, just one of an ongoing series.

Enjoy a morning spent connecting to nature and self with mindfulness practices.  Take a few hours to practice listening with the senses by sitting with stones in an outdoor open air setting at the Center for Connected Communities at Fresh Aire. Bring your busy or worried mind and leave with a smile. Sit amongst the stones, feel the spring breeze and meld with the sky. The class focuses on sharing mindfulness as a tool for reconnecting with self and the world. Join Carol O’Dowd, a Certified Mindfulness Instructor and Registered Psychotherapist, who has taught mindfulness for groups, schools and organizations for the past 12 years. Carol is certified also in Japanese Psychology.

Reserve your spot and bring a cushion that you don’t mind putting on a stone.  Fee of $20 includes coffee/tea and refreshments. Make check payable to Center for Connected Communities, a non profit whose mission is to share healing wisdoms across cultures and time. 10 % of the fee goes to CAP.  Email Carol to reserve  your seat on a stone, hurry, only 20 stones available. carol@carolodowd.com
