Providence's Garden: the Promise and Pain of Work

Many of our clients spend a large amount of time at work, working with other people. Bob will discuss some concepts from the Organization Development discipline that may be helpful in providing a framework for understanding and making the most of life at work. Discussion will include: work as a source of meaning, community, and dignity; the formal and informal sides of every organization; the importance and uses of the small group in any organization; the value of focusing on process rather than organizational structure; the key interpersonal
processes at work – leadership, teamwork, and change; characteristics of a typical work environment; and personal risk, reward, and courage at work.

Bob is an Existential Psychotherapist practicing in Louisville, with an extensive background in the corporate world.
